Touch Tunes Unveils Rugged Angelina Jukebox With Novel Lighting


NEW YORK CITY — Touch Tunes' latest digital downloading jukebox, the Angelina, made its industry debut at the recent Amusement Expo International in Las Vegas. It features a durable cast aluminum cabinet, modular snap-in components and an unusual "visualizer" lighting system that can complement location décor while calling attention to the jukebox.

Created with input from consumers, venues and Touch Tunes' operator partners, the new Angelina has been designed to raise the bar the bar for service ability and reliability. Controlled by sophisticated algorithms and enhanced by state-of the art lighting effects, the Angelina is engineered to elevate the jukebox experience, transforming light and sound into an eye-catching focal point for the location. Its "visualizer" illumination, which extends from the cabinet bezel to the wall on which the box is mounted, offers patterns, color combinations and brightness levels that can be selected from preset values or set individually for a customized look, allowing the jukebox to express the desired vibe in any site. The illumination radiates from slits in the rear of the cabinet to cast luminous patterns on the supporting wall; a reengineered wall mounting provides standoff for a bright, attractive display.

The Angelina offers features and capabilities that reduce service time and increase reliability, both of which features translate into greater efficiency and enhanced value for operators. At the heart of Angelina's design are modular components that plug directly into the removable mother board; there are no wiring harnesses to connect and disconnect. This simplifies service calls and reduces the parts inventory and improves reliability.

For each Angelina jukebox sold, Touch Tunes will make a donation to Angelina's Song, a non-profit organization that helps provide music therapy to pediatric cancer patients and supports research to find a cure for pediatric cancers.
